I have an over active sex drive manily around the humid periods. So as the weather is heating up a bit more. Add the weight pilled on during winter and add to that some of the meds messes with my libido. What are some of the tips and tricks to deal with this on a more maturely way then going to join a monestery this year?

That is something I can relate to and gives us reason to pause and think.

The ideal solution of course is to be so fortunate as to encounter a like minded individual who meets your personal requirements.

Failing that one falls back to taking matters in your own hands, or as the Catholic Church calls it 'self abuse'. Of course if flogging yourself with a cat of nine tails isn't to your liking...

How about the arts? Paint, draw, sculpt, model in clay, brick or whatever, these have been the ways that many have relieved themselves of pent up drives either by expressing them figuratively or channel the energy into something that takes the mind off the subject. This is where the shrinks have a field day trying to see stuff when your trying not to show stuff.

In the mean time I commiserate.
